While brushing the teeth is an important part of having good oral health, it is also crucial to floss each day. Flossing will ensure that there aren’t leftover food particles stuck or left behind in between teeth. Be sure to floss each day to keep the gums healthy as well as the teeth. However, don’t over floss as this can cause inflammation to the gums.
It is important that a person rinses their mouth regularly as well as brushing and flossing. Using mouthwash can be effective but a salt water rinse can be too. Mouthwashes can be expensive or harsh to some so using a salt water rinse can be easier on the mouth but still effective enough to cleanse the mouth.
